How Does Spinal Cord Stimulation Work?
The Evoke™ Therapy is a spinal cord stimulation therapy. Spinal cord stimulation (or SCS therapy) is a safe and effective treatment that has been in use for over 55 years.2
- SCS therapy uses a small implantable device to deliver tiny electrical pulses to your spinal cord.
- These pulses interrupt your body’s pain signals before they reach your brain, reducing the sensation of pain.
- One of the advantages of SCS therapy is that you can try it before deciding on a permanent implant.
Evoke™ Therapy
Every spinal cord is different, yet traditional spinal cord stimulation therapies don’t adapt to the needs of your unique nerves. Evoke™ Therapy changes that.
Your Journey with Evoke™ Therapy
You may start with a trial period to find out if the therapy is right for you before moving forward with a long-term implant.

Consultation
Meet with a pain specialist to review your history and discuss whether Evoke™ Therapy could be right for you.

Trial
If your clinician offers a trial of the Evoke™ Therapy, it will be for a short period (typically 3-7 days) to see how your body responds and if it provides meaningful relief.

Implant
If the trial is successful, a small device is implanted under the skin during a same day procedure. Most patients recover in 6–8 weeks before resuming normal activity.

Follow Up
Your care team will support you and fine-tune your therapy to help keep relief consistent.
